Biographical Summary

Andrew Rodewald is a Health Science Policy Analyst in the Division of Treatment and Recovery, Medications Development Branch at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).  He received his master’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington focusing choice and decision-making as well as behavioral pharmacology.  Before starting at NIAAA, Andrew managed a laboratory at Johns Hopkins University that focused on medication adherence in medically noncompliant individuals as well as establishing and maintaining abstinence for individuals with alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder.
