Emily Vogt, B.A.

Biographical Summary

Emily Vogt is special volunteer at NIAAA in the OCD. She began working at the NIAAA as a post-baccalaureate in July 2018 after graduating with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Economics from Northwestern University. Her research interests include improving diagnostics and therapeutic interventions for patients with AUD; understanding the genetic basis of AUD and related psychiatric disorders; and studying the factors that shape how individuals seek treatment for alcohol addiction. She is currently pursuing her MD at the University of Michigan Medical School and hopes to continue expanding on her interest in addiction medicine there.
