Claire Hunt joined the Clinical NeuroImaging Research Core in September 2019 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Maryland. Her undergraduate research entailed the investigation of child and adolescent socioemotional development as well as the relationship between cultural contexts and “normal” and “abnormal” social behaviors. She is interested in exploring the interaction between neural substrates and socioemotional behaviors in individuals in the context of alcohol use disorders. After completing her time at the NIH, Claire intends to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
