NIH Will Host Two Online Briefings for AREA (R15) and SBIR/STTR Grant Applicants

Announcement

The purpose of this notice is to inform NIH grant applicants, their mentors, and grant management officials about two online video briefings the NIH Center for Scientific Review (CSR) will host in October 2017.

CSR is the portal for NIH grant applications and their review for scientific and technical merit.

Each Briefing Will Have a Different Focus

Getting Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA/R15) grants, which support meritorious research, expose undergraduate and graduate students to hands-on research, and strengthen the research environment of schools that have not been major recipients of NIH support.

Getting Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants, which support early-stage research technology commercialization in the United States.
