Natasha Giddens, M.D.
Biographical Summary
Natasha earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degree prior to completing her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Between her first and second year of medical school, Natasha spent a summer at the National Institute of Mental Health. She joined LNI as a postdoctoral IRTA fellow shortly after medical school. Her research focuses on opioid use disorder. Natasha is interested in the relationship between early childhood stress and the development of addiction and psychosis. She has a deep interest in the community, especially disparities in access to quality mental health care. Natasha plans to start psychiatry residency in July of 2022, with the intent of specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
